Here's What to Wear When It's 70 Degrees in the Fall

Sure, it officially may be fall now, but in many parts of the country, it seems like nobody's told the weather. Rather than the brisk days of blazers and cozy scarves that the season traditionally calls to mind, we're instead left wondering what to wear in 70-degree weather when we're frankly pretty tired of our summer wardrobes.

Fortunately, fashion week street style offers some ideas, since it tends to still be warm and sunny during the September shows, while editors and bloggers are ready to show off pieces from the fall collections. Rather than pulling out the same linen dresses and eyelet-lace tops they've been wearing since May, they've been opting for richer textures, darker colors, and more put-together ensembles, taking some of the tenets of fall fashion and tweaking them for more summer-like weather. And for those of you who live in California or another region where temperatures tend to stay pretty consistent year-round, consider this an all-season guide.
